Parken Zoo is one of Eskilstuna’s major visitor attractions. Get to know friendly farm animals, encounter exotic species, and enjoy fun rides — all with a single ticket!
Parken Zoo is open during the summer season and in autumn for Halloween.
Parken Zoo - animals from every continent in the world
Parken Zoo has many animals you can´t see anywhere else in Sweden. Get close to tame animals in Lilla zoo (little zoo). Should you get hungry during your visit, there are several places to buy food or eat packed lunch. The entrance fee covers access to the Zoo and amusement park, as well as family-friendly entertainment and shows on the park’s stages during the summer.
Amusement park, stages and indoor play areas
In the amusement park, you’ll find fun rides, many of them perfect for younger children. The small roller coaster Masken gives you that fluttery feeling in your stomach, just like the free fall on Piratfallet. In the zoo area, you’ll also find climbing structures and playful activity zones.
During the summer season, Parken Zoo offers family-friendly performances on its outdoor stages, all included in the admission ticket.
Stay overnight
Stay overnight at the high-class camping site with its adjacent resort village of modern styled cottages. Many hotels also offer stays including zoo entry.

Parken Zoo is an authorised InfoPoint. This means that you can find maps and brochures about places to visit, activities and events nearby, as well as receive assistance with simpler questions about Eskilstuna.
Take the bus or cycle to Parken Zoo
By bus: Take bus line 3 from Fristadstorget towards Hällby or line 5 towards Hemlaås, and get off at Grangärdet (Tunavallen, Västeråsvägen) bus stop, which is located about 400 meters from Parken Zoo. The bus journey takes about 7 minutes. The bus also passes the central station, making it easy to continue by bus to Parken Zoo if you're arriving by train.
By bicycle: It’s less than three kilometers from Fristadstorget to Parken Zoo. A bicycle path runs all the way from central Eskilstuna to Parken Zoo, and the ride takes about 7 minutes.
